Year 6 have designed, made and evaluated their own musical instruments that create sound. They worked well in teams throughout the process. They produced a range of percussion and string instruments.
Textiles Club
We have designed and made festive soft toys at Textiles Club. Well done everybody – they look amazing!
Roman Feast afternoon
Year 3 had a brilliant afternoon celebrating the end of their Ancient Roman topic!
The class were able to extend their knowledge about the Romans by dressing up, making headdresses, tasting a range of Roman foods and practising the Roman army ‘tortoise’ manoeuvre.

Southburn Archaeological Museum
Year 6 had a super morning at Southburn Archaeological Museum. They extended their knowledge and learning about The Stone Age and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in all of the practical activities. A very informative morning with lots of new learning to bring back to the classroom.
